I was born in the beautiful state of Washington, but grew up on the tranquil islands of Hawaii. After graduating from High School, I set my sights back on Washington where I graduated from the University of Washington with a Cellular and Molecular Biology degree. Intending on the possibility of moving onto Medical School, I detoured into Real Estate, a career that I found my passion for working with people and my scientific mind melded superbly.

It’s been ten years since I initially dived headfirst into real estate, and I have never looked back. At the time, there were a handful of condominiums in Seattle and I felt that urban living was something I really wanted to explore. I quickly learned everything I could learn about condominiums. I have expanded that knowledge to the Greater Seattle area, and even towards Bellevue.

As the years went by, my passion for real estate has not waned. I constantly update myself with current market trends, activities and products that grace the beauty that is Seattle and Bellevue. I have a propensity to migrate to ‘green’ projects, and have no issues with the Growth Management Act (GMA).

I recently retired from working on three condominium projects downtown in the South Lake Union area, and I certainly have a desire to see South Lake Union (SLU) succeed. You will most definitely see that come through on some of my posts, which tends to be pro-density, anti-sprawl. SLU inspires the best of density and proximity to downtown, and continues to get better and better as development continues.

I also have a passion for modern architecture. As a general whole, the more modern and greener a building is, the more I am to like the home. This does not mean I am not passionate about all of Seattle’s architecture. I enjoy the openness and flexibility of the 1950’s cape cod homes, or the attention to detail in the Craftsman style homes, or the brick Tudors (in which I live)… Seattle’s architecture is vast and exciting, and I enjoy every aspect of it.
